League of Evil Geniuses to Bilocate Memorial Day Weekend, 2006

There will be League of Evil Genius Hall of Fame Salons in multiple locations this Memorial Day weekend. Friday night at BayCon 2006 in San Jose, the LoEG second unit will be unveiling three new inductees to the Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, Saturday night at Costume-Con 24, the League will host a Hall of Fame salon in the convention hospitality suite followin g the Fantasy and Science Fiction Masquerade. Early-Bird memberhips to Costume-Con 26 will be available for sale at both conventions. |

Gallifrey One: Episode 14, the Faction Paradox (2003) Party review by Suze Campagna Last night the League of Evil Geniuses held a wonderful party on the second floor of the main building. It was easy to find as the door was surrounded by eyeballs and there were lots of other neat decorations. There was lots of evil food, including Nerds Rope (Yes, that is cannibalism), sour gummy worms, gummy hearts and sharks, as well as mystery flavored sour Warheads, which one of our party said, "That's just mean." But alas no Tabasco. Champagne and Vinuva in a pretty purple bottle were also served. (Science Fiction Note: Vinuva was featured in the most recent episode of Enterprise.) There were also cool napkins with a Martini glass being held by a skeleton hand. At each convention the League of Evil Geniuses induct members into their hall of fame, who are related to the convention. This time of course the evil legends of Doctor Who were inducted (there are actually 60 member of the hall of fame in all). Included in last night's induction were The Valeyard, Elraad, Scaroth, Queen Xanxia, The Rani, all three Masters (but not Eric Roberts because "Paul McGann doesn't count," one of the hosts informed me.), The Licensor, Omega, Morbius, The Borad and the special inductee was Sutekh the Destroyer, and they even had cool Sutekh temporary tattoos. The party was actually a party for Costume Con 26 in Silicon Valley. And Dali fans will love their logo. -Exiles of Craggy Island |
