An Introduction to Costume-Con
A Bit About Costume-Con's History
Posted: January 1, 2005
Did Karen Dick know, 20 years ago, that the little conference she put together would still be around? Costume-Con has come a long way in those two decades, and we have strong hopes for its third. Like its sister-conference, Costume College, Costume-Con has become a premiere venue for professional and hobbyist costumers to meet. The numerous fashion and costume competitions, though, make Costume-Con unique. At Costume-Con you may, if you choose, match your talent and skill against designers and costumers from around the world. You could also just come to share knowledge and enjoy the works being presented. Regardless of your area of interest, Costume-Con has something to offer you. For more information about Costume-Con, including its origins, see Costume-Connections, the offical web page of Costume-Con. |
